Recommendations for a dentist in Foggy Bottom? (Preferable one who specializes in root canals.) Moving to DC in August & in need of a dentist to help out a situation started by my hometown dentist. Good bedside manner is important to me.

I go to see [Dr. Arroyo](https://www.jarroyodds.com/). He's not in Foggy but he's within walking distance. I've never had a root canal done, but he's done wonders with a nasty case of TMJ that I've been dealing with.
Searching for TMJ Specialist Crosspost from r/nova .
Does anyone have any recommendations for a dentist that specializes in TMJ treatment in the area? My regular dentist has done his best, but I think it's time for me to seek out someone with more experience with TMJ and jaw pain. I'm willing to travel anywhere in NOVA/DC for a solid recommendation.
I am hoping to find a dentist that accepts insurance. I have pretty decent dental, so for the most part, if a dentist accepts insurance, they accept mine.

I see Arroyo (https://www.jarroyodds.com/) for my TMJ, I think he's done a great job with it.
Recommendations for cosmetic dentist (gum contouring)? I’m looking to get my top gums removed/contoured in order to get a “toother” smile. Any recommendations? Somewhere in DC would be preferable but I’d also be willing to expand my search to Alexandria, Arlington, etc.
