  Another one for Auburn Birthing Center! Also, if your insurance doesn't cover it, look into a "gap exception." With this clause my insurance covered it at the same rate as a hospital. 🙂

  Asking for a friend- who are some recommended doulas in Fort Wayne? Also- recommendation for an OB/midwife who supports natural and or water births. She currently uses dr Einhaus but open to switch if she needs to. I used Dr Stroud and recommend him. Open to hear about others

  There are so many incredible midwives practicing in our area, but I personally use Stephanie VanderHorst with Auburn OBGYN. I have had many deliveries (as a birth photographer) with the other midwives in the practice, Michelle and Kori. They are incredibly skilled midwives, who love what they do. They are passionate about each and every mama & baby that walk through their doors. I cannot recommend their practice enough. They deliver at https://www.facebook.com/118942668152102 Auburn Birthing Center and Dekalb Health.

  I used midwife Kori Engdahl and had a water birth at the auburn birthing center! I would do the same thing again if there is a next time!

  I know it's been said time and time again but I highly recommend the midwives at auburn birthing center! Stephanie vanderhorst was amazing for both my girls' deliveries!

  I also highly recommend auburn birthing center with the auburn OBGYN office. All the midwives there are state licensed midwives! Make sure who ever you go with is state licensed and not just "certified". And they carry insurance for malpractice. Stephanie VanderHorst delivered all three of my babies. The last two at ABC and loved it! I wouldn't see anyone else.

  I had both of my kiddos at Auburn Birthing Center with the Midwives at Auburn OBGYN. Stephanie VanderHorst is who I see for all my care and she delivered my first. My second decided to wait until she was on vacation. So Michelle and Kori both were there for different parts during his labor and delivery. They are all wonderful and really care about you as a person not just a patient.

  My midwife is Stephanie at Auburn Birthing Center. She is amazing and respects all our natural requests. But if you are open to a home birth you can try Agape Birth Services with Rhoda. She is from Fort Wayne and she is completely open to all natural as well.

  My midwife Michelle Hileman is also at the Auburn Birthing Center. Although I risked out of the birth center unfortunately, I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful natural birth at the hospital with my midwife still. I have a lot of friends who had wonderful experiences with both Stephanie and Michelle at the birth center!

  Loved Auburn Birthing Center! I had an all natural water birth at Dekalb memorial hospital with Stephanie. The whole staff was amazing!

  Im partial to Stephanie up in Auburn, but any of the midwives there are wonderful! You should check up on any Ob/midwife thats suggested and see if theyre a good fit for you :) 260-927-0035 for Auburn Ob/Gyn-thats where you can reach the office for the midwives
