I don’t want to ask people I know and have it get back to my husband and I’d rather have some kind of referral instead of just picking a name at random. Any help would be appreciated.

  If you are low income, the Family Law Project may be helpful. They provide free representation to low income survivors of domestic violence. SafeHouse Center ([https://www.safehousecenter.org/](https://www.safehousecenter.org/)) can conduct an initial interview with you and refer you to FLP, and may have other resources you find useful.
