I paid for ultimate guitar tabs pro and I'm super happy with it

Songster is a main one that I use for learning things. Chordie and ultimate Guitar are also ok. I have found that learning things from all of these sites is ok but you definitely need to cross reference with a recording to match parts up sometimes
Wayne M. replied:
I use Chordie and Ultimate Guitar both good sites

Ultimate guitar. Com, I bought tab pro for my smart phone and it was only $10.00 for a lifetime membership.
Where are the best places I can find drum tabs/sheet music? So I used to write back for ttabs (when the whole copyright with tabs thing was taking place and ttabs was one of the few places not compromised) back in 2006-2008. I stopped drumming back in 2010, and I really want to get back into it. I have been to Tabs Pro, but I want to know if there is anything that is better. Thanks, everyone :)
Anybody knows where can i get guitar pro tabs of Pendragon? I can only get Paintbox.
Mattias L. replied:
Well, there's also Guitar Pro tabs for The Black Knight and regular manually written tabs for a bunch of other songs. You can either find them on the bottom link or on ultimateguitar.com. If I come across the aforementiond MIDI tracks I can try to turn them into GP tabs to the best of my ability and share them with the rest of you. http://www.911 tabs.com/tabs/p/pendragon/
Pretty stoked on my new 7 string Mayones.
I'm pretty new to ERG so I was wondering if anyone could recommend any cool bands that play in drop A :)
Ian P. replied:
the first two of 3 albums by Rings of Saturn are in drop A and lucas mann himself posted the guitarpro tabs on ultimateguitar.com, and he also translated the first albums songs on to a 7-string instead of the 6-string drop A tuning originally used, so its 7-string friendly
Ultimate Guitar (mentioned) as well as Songster...are probably my favorites to use. but there's other ones (you may not care for) like activebass.com911 tabs.com. To be honest ultimateguitar.com and songsterr.com are probably your best bet.

Can any self taught guitar players recommend a good free guitar tabs site? I've found a few good ones through the site I'm using, but most are sent in from readers and are way off.
Brandon B. replied:
Ultimateguitar.com. they have ratings for each tab and multiple tabs. It's probably the best you're gonna get lol.
Rick B. replied:
Karla, my brother says ultimateguitar.com I checked it out and it's better than the one I was using. You can also find chord charts online and there are tutorial videos on YouTube.
Thinkin about getting a good 12 sting guitar.....any suggestions? been looking at the Seaguls, Martins and Taylors....would love one with built in tuner and EQ. Currently have an Exotic Wood Ibanez 6 string, which i'm very pleased with. Just want a good 12 string, been putting it off for many years.

i am doing fair....kinda stressed out by now....i cant read music either. I use a site called ultimateguitar.com for tabs......works great! i can learn a song a night with it, at times maybe 2 of them
Guitar Playing Folks....Can any of you suggest some good books, websites, videos, etc on slide techniques. I may even fork out some green for lessons in NEPA, so if there you know anyone who can teach slide, I'm open to recommendations as well.
Hi..Can anyone point me in the right direction.....If I wanted to find the chords for how to play Caro Emerald - liquid lunch or Buddy Holly or other chart modern stuff, where is the best place to search??
Mark R. replied:
Chordie.com is pretty good, as is UltimateGuitar.com. I usually just search Google for the song name & chords. That's how I found Liquid Lunch on UltimateGuitar.com
