  Recommendations for a studio in NYC or Long Island (but not Manhattan) that offers a really great program for 200 hour yoga instructor certification? I've been contemplating it for years, but am finally serious about actually doing it. I originally thought I'd take the program at the Himalayan Institute in the Poconos, where I used to go with my mom on yoga retreats growing up, but now can't bear adding any more traveling away from home to my life than I already do. It must be a Yoga Alliance accredited school. Thanks in advance for any advice!

  have you looked into jivamukti? it's a very vigorous, spiritual style that also includes veganism! i love it and wish there were more jivamukti instructors around here (the closest is in DC). http://www.jivamuktiyoga.com/
