Green Garden has two convenient locations in Southeast Oakland County
21135 John R Road in Hazel Park, 248-544-7336.
380 W. 11 Mile Road in Madison Heights, 248-548-4447.
It is the mission of Green Garden to provide excellent child care in an environment free from harmful toxins and dangerous chemicals. Everything we do from cooking to cleaning, playing to learning is carefully planned and designed to be earth friendly. We believe it is our responsibility to care for God's wonderful creation and preserve it's precious resources for our children. We are proud to furnish our center with toys that are made from natural items, recycled, or otherwise earth-friendly. We promise to use only natural and biodegradable cleaning products all throughout our facility. We will serve food that is organic and local food when possible. We gladly accept cloth diapers, glass bottles, and expressed breast milk. Some of our green actions include: purchasing used or repurposed items whenever possible, buying new products made primarily of renewable materials, using recycled paper products, limiting plastics and NEVER cook with them, and recycling/composting as much of our waste as possible.
We are always looking for ways to do more. If you have any earth friendly suggestions we would love to hear from you!
We have two campuses located in Madison Heights and one in Hazel Park. Our toddler and preschool campus, located at 380 W. 11 Mile Rd serves children 12 months to 5 years of age. Our infant campus, located right next door at 320 W. 11 Mile Rd serves children birth through 12 months of age. Our Hazel Park campus, located at 22135 John R Road serves children 4 weeks through 7 years of age.
