I've been off work for 5 months recovering from foot surgery. Now I'm told I need a second surgery to fix problems that first one caused. Yet I was denied disability today. I'm so disappointed in our system. Anyone know of a good attorney?

Does anyone know a good "tenant support" or "tenant rights" group? I have a buddy who lives in a house that was foreclosed and is now being evicted. He paid his rent September 1st to a landlord who probably didn't even own the place. Now he has until the 25th to move! Any ideas?
Alejandro M. replied:
you need to call Daniel Bramzon, tenants rights lawyer and founder of BASTA one of the largest tenants rights groups in Calfornia. He singlehandedly changed the UD process in the Courts by requesting jury trials. He has represented over 10,000 tenants. Everyone else is a joke. He IS THE GUY. Find his number under calbar.org or the BASTA website. He may be hard to reach personally but has 6 lawyers that work for him
