  If you believe in sending healing energies, prayers or positive thoughts, will you please send them to a suffering victim of severe animal neglect today? We are fighting to save a poor colt's life. He has been close to death for 3 days. His severely neglected mother, who could not be saved, was euthanized on the recommendation of the local vet, and since then, the little guy has been unwilling to eat, so he is having to be force fed with a stomach tube. The heartless perpetrator of the neglect has been charged with animal cruelty - she not only neglected the horses but hid them, as people rallied to their aid, possibly resulting in the mother's death. Thanks to our Avoyelles chapter representatives, local law enforcement and vets, who have been fighting so hard to save this little guy's life.
