Any recommendations for a good arborist/tree service? I need some medium-sized trees trimmed. A brief look around the internet seems to show that there are a lot of scummy outfits out there who use door-to-door high pressure sales tactics and exploit neighbor-neighbor tension... None of that is relevant in my case but I'd like to use someone with a good reputation.

Hey y'all - the recent crazy wind storms have reminded us that we should have a giant dying cherry tree on our property looked at for removal. Anyone want to recommend an arborist or landscaper that you know will do a great job?

We're looking for someone to trim a tree and take down some laurel -- any recommendations? We're thinking more lumberjack than arborist, but would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.
Mark Herkett is excellent, local small business, and reasonable; he is a certified arborist and wont ruin your tree. bethormark@... (206) 322-4546
