And how do regular folk like me pay that? Are there companies that will do a finance program? I'm stressing because I'm not thinking we can save that much before it goes out.

I called him at 7 pm on a Tuesday night, expecting to leave a message and hopeful he would call me back in the morning. He called me back within 15 minutes and had them up and running by 8:30 that night. No extra charge for after hours work. He was courteous and professional. I highly recommend him. 919-271-7961

  Looking for licensed and insured HVAC person. Have Trane System that at end of summer had stopped cooling. Company that installed it 10 years ago came out and charged me $354 to add 2lbs of R-410. That solved problem for about 1 week. Cooler weather set in though so figured I'd worry about it in the spring. Now with heat running the system is cutting totally off - no power to thermostat. Tracked that down to blown 5 amp fuse on circuit board in air- handler. Replaced and everything worked for about 24 hours then fuse blew again. Replaced again and fuse blew in 30 seconds. I don't mind paying a fair price to someone who know how to fix it right. Just don't want to be gouged for guesses.

As for the loss of refrigerant you must have a leak in the systen which can usually been located using an electronic leak detector. I am happy to help you resolve both issues if you like.   ISO a person or company to come give me a free estimate on Installing a new ac unit.. heat works fine. 2 days before I closed on my house someone came in and stole all the copper piping from under my house.. when the bank paid to have my ac unit piping replaced they did not have the correct peices so they cobbed it together. The peice that I need is no longer made.. needless to say I need a new unit with the CORRECT FITTINGS.. asap! Thanks!!
