About us
Owner Cindy Sievers has twenty-four years experience in the pet grooming industry. She prides herself on a clean shop and loving hands. Cindy has a commitment to loving your pet and giving it the respect it deserves. There are no rush jobs at “A Cut Above” It’s about quality not quantity. It’s all about giving your pet a loving, caring experience. It’s about going the extra mile for the client and the dog. It’s giving you the services you need and rewarding you for keeping your pet on a regular grooming schedule if you choose to do so. Our slogan is “More than just a name, it’s our pledge to you”.
Cindy is a certified professional and a 1993 graduate from Colorado Career Academy, Aurora, CO. (A 600 hour certification course in all breed grooming and management) There is no licensing in the pet grooming industry like there is for cosmetology, so not all groomers are the same. Only a small percentage of groomers are certified. Cindy has made the commitment to be fully trained and tested in this field.
Cindy has worked for four different veterinarians in Spokane, WA & Meridian, ID. Cindy has also been a business owner at three locations. Cindy has permanently moved back to Idaho Falls and has opened her shop at 1775 E. 17th St. Suite B. We are open Monday-Friday by appointment only. (403-4230). We have morning and afternoon drop off times for your convenience.
We do offer the following retail products for your convenience (Brushes, combs, dematting combs, shampoo, conditioners, pet colonge, dog clothes, dog toys, collars and leashes
