Don't know if this will help but I have seen this advertised now locally for the last few years. www.Yogalola.com/products.htm . Lola claims she suffered from intense sciatic pain and discovered the acupressure mat, which she now markets. Her ad says th e mats were developed and tested in Russia in the 1970 s. I saw the ad in the magazine Natural Awakenings. Hope your mom gets better soon, whatever remedy she ends up using.
