Buy the Princeton Review books. They give you a comprehensive set of exercises and tell you how to approach each type of problem on the GRE. After you have thoroughly studied these books, you will be in good shape to take the test.

Applying to grad school is a super overwhelming process! I agree w commenter above--buy some GRE prep books (manhattan prep has detailed ones that break everything down) and practice doing those problems for several months. SDSU offers a GRE prep class but it costs $400 or more--save yourself the $ and just practice the problems in the study guide. Apply to lots of schools if possible! I applied to 9 and got into 1 for speech language pathology--but my GPA and GRE scores were not the best. Cast a wide net!!! Good luck, the process to get in is definitely overwhelming! Take it one step at a time!
