A love and passion for all things motorized was present at birth for Allen Scott. Shortly before Allen left high school, his career in the automotive industry began by white walling tires. Allen continued white walling and beautifying tires while attending South Plains College. After being an automotive technician for two years, Allen started his own business in October 1983, known as Mobile Car Cosmetics. Beginning by servicing wholesale car lots out of the trunk of his car, Allen's hard work and attention to detail helped him secure large dealership accounts. Becoming highly skilled in one area at a time, Allen added rock chip repair, pin striping... show more and graphic packages, and automotive accessories.
In 1991 Allen trained in the art of Paintless Dent Removal. In a cube truck that became a customized rolling shop, Mobile Car Cosmetics became A.S. Dent and Auto Trim. As time passed, the retail demand for PDR increased to a point that Allen decided to open a permanent location to better service his customers. 1996 was the year A.S. Dent and Auto Trim became A.S. Dent Shop. Allen is now able to service both his automotive dealerships and retail customers in a more efficient and timely manner.
