Any cheaper bike shop recommendations in Tempe I'm looking for a cheaper bike, say under $300 for my commute that is a flat 3 miles along Tempe Town Lake. The AZ Beach Cruiser place on University seems like my best option.
This is just for cooler days so I'm not burning gas or getting stuck in State Farm traffic on Rio Salado. I'd honestly be OK with a Walmart bike, but like the idea of buying local. I have a mountain bike, but I want something like a cruiser for my commute.
Looking for a good bike shop in Phoenix area I'm new to the valley and I'm looking to get a tune-up for my current bike, and possibly look into getting a new road bike. I'm in graduate school, so I'm looking for a place that is reasonably priced, trustworthy, and not too far from Scottsdale. Any recommendations?

I'm in grad school as well so I understand you may be busy, but if you are interested in learning about bike maintenance and tuning it up yourself, the staff and volunteers at Bike Saviours will teach you for free - you just need to pay hourly to use the tools which I believe is around $4/hour. Check out their website here: http://www.bikesaviours.org/
Does anyone have any resources to help a client get a bicycle? She is low income and lives in an area where there are not many buses, and a bicycle would help her to get around so she can more easily look for a job. Any ideas?
