    Anonymous post no. 12165 Just received my electricity bill and my solar panels must have a fault as there is no feed tariff or credit, with the meter reading remaining the same for the past quarter. Any recommendations on who to get to look at this? An electrician? Is it a specialised field being solar panels? Hopefully someone that won't charge an arm and leg just for a call out to look at it and tell me what's wrong, Thanks!

    Same thing happened to me a couple moths ago- first off we called our electric company but they take no responsibility- if there's no reading it's a fault with the panels they say. Got our electrician out to assess. It was the solar- and of course it was just 2 months past the warranty! Got a quote to fix and sent to our insurers which we could claim.
