  Thanks Jamie Armann. Brandi, we have over 30 breeds available ranging in age from a few days, to 15 months old. Prices range from $2-$15 each. Some of the best brown layers we carry are red sex links, black stars, barred rock, Rhode Island Red, and Rhode island white.   We are completely new, so please excuse my ignorance: Where are your favorite places to get chicks? We are pretty open to egg laying breeds, but haven't had any luck googling/craigslisting where to buy chicks from. We are looking to get them within the next 30-60 days, for what that is worth.   Thank you everyone! We have hundreds of chicks and pullets aged one to 8 weeks. Prices range from 50 cents each for straight run chicks, to $8 for the oldest pullets. Most female chicks are $3-$4 each. We hatch and order in chicks year round. www.facebook.com/FreehlingFarms

  Hello. Right now we have 3 5-week olds left. They no longer need heat, and will be ready to go outside when the weather finally behaves itself! They were birds that were returned to us, because the owners decided they only wanted cute little chicks for easter--not full grown chickens. Only $3 each. www.Facebook.com/FreehlingFarms

  They are not quite pullets but sexed chicks for our N-side location. We got two barred rocks, one buff orpington and a red sex link at Freehling Farms in Kittanning. All great birds, they guarantee the sex!

  Looking for a reputable, and organic hatchery, or farm, to pre-order a straight run of approximately 30 chicks. Need this upcoming spring, good foraging layers. They will be in a mobile tractor-electric net paddock hybrid depending on weather and the availability of live foods.if anyone here knows of a breeder who has such chicks. Please pm me. Buffs are a major plus and my preferred breed.
