We are moving there in the summer and home school. Some of my kids may be taking online classes. How reliable is the internet? Any recommendations for which ISP to go...

I use ACS because it's unlimited. I go through IDEA for home schooling. http://ideafamilies.org

Ok...for those who continue to provide the wrong information. GCI is NOT unlimited unless you were grandfathered in, they no longer offer those plans. Going http://www.gci.com/internet/plans and picking Eielson there is only 40GB, 150GB, 300GB and 600G B plans with the option to pay $10 for a bucket of data. What happens when I use my entire additional high speed data bucket? When you use your entire high speed data bucket, you can: Choose to buy another additional high speed data bucket Upgrade to a No Worries plan that better meets your needs Use the internet at a basic level of service (less than 1 Mbps) with no overages So you can get unlimited but at dial up speeds once you exceed your allowed data cap.

Angel Gallentine Lee. I just read the GCI information and it still mentions overage fees. (I'm not sure what I am missing that you know) I just know what I was charged for going over my monthly amount. We had the most expensive package and we still went over. I've met people who had never heard of all of the available homeschool options. Sorry if I offended you by offering my ideas to someone.
Angel L. replied:
http://www.gci.com/internet NO longer have overage fees, effective maybe 6 weeks ago. You pick a plan, get certain amount. If you go over you MAY buy more OR not and just have slower speed.

ACS is great and the few comments about GCI being unlimited are incorrect. GCI is still limited, they just have the "Worry Free Plan" which is $10 for 30 more GB of Data. http://www.gci.com/internet/plans
