Chevy's sold to Taco Bell? TB was owned by the people that owned Pizza Hut and some other fast food years ago. Now Dorito's are part of TB, so I am guessing that Frito Lay has a hand it it somewhere. Taco Bell has improved somewhat over the last few years.

Don K. replied:
Tia Maria was great, had my first "legal" cocktail there. El Torito sucks.

I remember visiting dad in San Leandro after graduating HS in Arizona in 1977 ... we (dad, bro, step-mom, me) visited SF, then made a stop at Tia Maria for nostalgia's sake. Did some pics on the front steps. As dad is coming down the stairs, we spun him around and marched in to the restaurant. Surprise!!! and Happy Father's Day!!! Awesome!!!
