We use Bain Pest Control. We had a carpenter ant situation when we bought our home last year and Bain came out. We haven't had any issues since and have maintained a yearly contract with them.

I don't know if he does emergency calls, but I use New Tech Pest Control in Billerica for annual traps. This is going to sound harsh, but I did this not too long ago in a pinch. I put a plastic container over it and suffocated it. It took awhile but once it was dead I scooped it up underneath with a dust pan and got rid of it outside. I was not happy to do it but there wasn't much of an alternative.
