Tattoo artists & tattoo shops in the greater Cleveland area?? Hello Reddit friends!
I want to know who the best tattoo artists and/or tattoo shops in/around Cleveland....
eme_badger replied:
[Greg Christian](http://instagram.com/gregchristian4130) at Tattoo Faction. He is on Instagram if you want to see some of his work. I have a great grey shade piece he did for me.

Black Metal in Strongsville and Wanderlust in Akron do the best work I've seen in Northeast Ohio.

Not sure if you've already made up your mind, but Al Garcia is the best tattoo artist in North East Ohio. He's at Stay True Tattoo in Mentor. I think he's on the pricier side though. Other than him, I suggest Rudy at Iron Clad Tattoos in Mentor, also. He's *really* good at black and white tattoos and I have several from him myself.

Any good ones on the west side? My tattoo artist moved to Louisville and as much as I adore road trips, I just can't justify one right now.

Voodoo Monkey on West 25 th street is one highly acclaimed Cleveland shop - a friend of mine, [Lauren Vandevier](https://www.instagram.com/ellvee_tattooer/) does phenomenal traditional/black work there, if that's your style. She runs a decent wait-list at this point but her work is worth it, if you ask me.
_pateradactyl replied:
Black Metal has done four out of my five tattoos. You have to look up the artists individually, since they don't have a shared IG. Imo, they're all fantastic so I can't choose a certain artist. If Strongsville is too far, I've never been here but Wanderlust, out in Akron I think, does some of the best realistic looking tattoos. One of the artists actually posts on r/tattoos all the time. His name is Logan Bramlett I believe.

Look for an artist that works in the style he's looking for. Always look at portfolios. If its going to be a big project, don't shop price, shop quality. www.voodoomonkey.org we have 7 artists that are totally different from each other. We should have someone to accomodate him. I'm honored my name came up more than once here.

Looking for a good tattoo artist who does watercolor tattoos?
RuneV777 replied:
About the best watercolor around NE Ohio would be Logan Bramlett from Wanderlust Tattoo Society. He does amazing work and seems like a nice dude. I haven't gotten anything from him yet, but haven't seen yet by him that I didn't like... http://www.wanderlusttattoo.com/ https://www.instagram.com/loganbram/ He's also on Reddit... /u/loganbram

I have a water color bird that Eric Kaplan did. Hes at VooDoo Monkey on W 25 th. Right by Westside Market http://m.imgur.com/7 rRt994 This pic is from the day off. I had him stay within the lines so as it fades in the future it doesnt look like weird bruising. It has been 3 years since i got this and i still looks amazing. Id post a current pic but its on the back of my shoulder and thats kind of hard to do by myself
tspaldz replied:
I go to [True Art](http://www.truearttattoos.com/) in Ohio City. Never gotten any watercolor from them but they have a bunch of great artists with a variety of styles and they're super helpful so I'd recommend giving them a call.

Can I piggy back on your thread and also ask if anyone can recommend an artist that does good biomechanical or space/fantasy scenes? I'm new to the area so I don't know the answer to your question or mine lol.
