Janet Emmerich Ehnen i had this surgery 6 years ago. I was fully face down for 4 weeks and then i was able to do half and half for 2 weeks then i was back to being fully face up. Its very grueling and very hard to keep face down that long. I had my surgery in Columbia at Boone, my dr was Dr. Blair and he was very good. Hope things go smoothly!!!

Craig has had the bubble, the buckle, and the surgery. The positioning is grueling and even life changing as you get time to reflect on life! we LOVE Dr. Keithahn at the Retina Associates in Columbia, MO. We will be in prayer for Joyce and the doctor she chooses! Prayer is the only thing that got Craig through 6 weeks of positioning!

Thanks everyone, just made an appointment at Retina Associates. If they still suggest surgery I will then have to decide whether to bring her home with me or stay in Eldon.
