I'm starting a new thread about food.
One of my most favorite Italian restaurants in the world (And, I've eaten in Italy.) was Caesar's. But, they've closed.
Will some...

I know they are still there because I've looked every time I come to the City, but I haven't gone there since I worked downtown in the 80 s. The Great Hunan had the best Kung Pao Chicken, Mu Shu Pork, Pot Stickers, geee! just about any dish they made was delicious!!!https://plus.google.com/106547605202559062505/about?gl=us...

Back to food, I like Sotto Mare (spelling?) and Capo's in North Beach for Italian. The Stinking Rose is an overrated tourist joint.
Al J. replied:
Nicole MercierI was in the city last year, and Caesar's was closed. Are you sure it is open now? I'll check the Great Hunan. I love getting Chinese food when I am in the city, as well.

One of the places we love is Cafe Jacqueline. The place is small and intimate. Jacqueline does all the cooking. Its soup, salad and wonderful souffle's of every description.Be prepared to spend about 4 hours there because everything is made from scratch. There is no place quite like it.
It was a musicians hang out too. Gary Schense, Paul Cosek, myself and all our band buddies used to hang out there. Mike Collins who was the drummer for a lot of punk band of the day used to work there too.

Oye Amigos in Marshall is Emilio's II. He entrusted all his recipes to trusted employee, Jerry. She and her husband have continued the business and carried on his legacy.
Bob C. replied:
Try Oye Amigo in Marshall the gal that owns it cooked with Emilio for years just like Emilios
