Heather, my friend Andrea found a great nanny on Care.com when they were living in Edwardsville. They actually shared a nanny with their neighbors across the street. Care.com does background checks and often have people with educational backgrounds in childhood education. It would probably be cheaper to have someone come to your house than to pay infant rate x 2 in a center.

Why would you take 159 to 64? Have you tried Scott Troy road? Would think faster? And one of our kids went to Kool Kids in Troy and we really liked it. Is base daycare not an option for you? We loved it. All three of ours went there.

I had Kolton in a FCC home. I used Luresa she was wonderful, however they moved out of state. I also used Valerie Carrero she was amazing, she did great with Kolton. The only reason I changed providers was because I had to take Kolton out of care for two months and when he came back Valerie was full so she referred me to Luresa. Definitely worth a check if you are open to an FCC home. ~Maria
