Bonnie S. replied:
You might contact Operation Greyhound. They are a rescue out of El Cajon. 619 588 6611. They do some boarding if they are not full of dogs. You could try to contact them. The dogs would be well cared for and safe.
Kurt H. replied:
I'm wondering if any greyhound lovers would be interested in hosting a dog lover as part of a foreign exchange program. EFexchangeyear.org can donate $200 to your organization as a referral stipend. Cheers!
Bonnie S. replied:
Heidi Hart many of my hounds have been from Operation Greyhound. I used to have an in home sitter but she has moved. I feel that if I had to go away and leave my pups they would be safe there. Also, Bea Kipuka Thompson does dog sitting. She has the dogs come to her home. She is in Encinitas. I am guessing she will be busy in December but you might try her as well. 19 750 6117.

We just stayed at Castle Inn and Suites in December. Right across from the park.

Howard Johnson Anaheim. Walking distance to the park or $5 cab. Coin washer and dryer in the basement. I only know cuz it poured the 2 days we were there. There are bunk beds in the room. Very clean.
Michael M. replied:
Also look on priceline hotwire or hotels.com for good deals. Thats what I do when we go. Castle inn and suites is within walking distance usually 100 to 130 anight. Depending on your price range. The Annabelle is great from what I heard and candy cane inn is good.
Kari J. replied:
use hoteltonight.com - they have some great deals

Love Candy Cane Inn!! Walking distance.

Kristen D. replied:
Howard Johnson was fun for my son since it has a spray park on property, the hotel rooms were not bad for an overnight stay and we were able to walk right across to Disneyland within five minutes our absolute favorite hotel though which was not bad price wise was Anaheim majestic garden hotel.. oh my gosh the room was awesome, so comfy the decor was so cool and defiantly made you feel like you were getting ready for your Disneyland adventure. The hotel resembles a castle and really feel makes you feel as if your staying in one of Disneyland's own hotels without the price. They every have a castle bunk bed built into the call for the kids of you choose that option. They also have a shuttle that runs back and forth from Disneyland and the property every 30 minutes. Definitely the best hotel!

If you have wifi or data use a app like Hotwire or priceline.com for finding the best hotel prices for your budget. 211 can provide you with amazing amounts of information to help you for other things. There is a list online if you google for food banks where you can get free food from churches and even hot meals. You can go to the welfare office and file for emergency food stamps too or online.
