My dad was just diagnosed with both Lyme disease (which can mimic so many other illnesses/diseases) and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. While I don't know of a Dr that you mentioned, I can tell you that Dr. Francine Hanberg, Infectious Disease, in Burbank is wonderful. It takes a while to be diagnosed because she does lots and lots of tests, but people fly in from all over to be treated by her. She sees patients from 5 to 9 or 10 at night, which is strange, but my dad is already feeling somewhat better. Maybe she can help you. Her number is: (818) 843-1819. If you happen to find a good alternative Dr, could you please let me know? I'd be interested for myself. There is also a book worth looking at called "Why Can't I Get Better? - Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease" by Richard Horowitz, MD. I hope you get the treatment you need to feel better soon!

You could try Dr. Ed Wagner in Pacific Palisades; he's listed as a Chiropractor, but goes far beyond with a natural holistic regimen. Phone: (310) 230-2145

Hi Kirstin it's Mary Payne, I have a silk fb name to hide from my 7th grade students. I had a stretch of 5 years where I went to all kinds of docs and was misdiagnosed repeatedly. I found an immunologist in Pasadena who is the most amazing medical detective John Henry Smith 626 584-6673. He encouraged me to work with an acupuncturist as well Dr Pei Li Zhong 626 799-8855 also in Pasadena. I was taken of a small pharmacy worth of prescription drugs and with vitamins mineral and rest my many year journey was over. Turned out my immune system had completely crashed and my symptoms mimicked brain disease and a host of auto immune illnesses none of which I actually had. Hope you find some solution soon.
