Hello all! I am very attached to my hair stylist in valpo, but I can't justify driving three hours for a hair cut. Does anyone have A recommendation for a good women's...
David K. replied:
I've gone to Salon Ubon a few times in granger for hair cuts. My barber (I refuse to say stylist) was Shanda. She specialized in men's hair, so i don't know if you'd want her for you, but maybe someone else there would be good. I was always happy with the results. http://www.salonubon.com/

I've heard that Salon Rouge is supposed to be really good, but I can't stand to pay that much for a haircut. I'm too cheap.
Barbara K. replied:
Serenity Salon in Mishawaka. I have short & very thin hair, but I've gotten more compliments since I started going there. Andrea Morin is my stylist. A little pricey but less than Salon Rouge.

I've been pretty happy w/ Hair Crafters on Lincolnway east for the last couple years. Averages around 30-45 depending on who you have. (I go like once a year so I don't find this bad at all for the quality.) Laura consistently handles my long texture-less hair pretty well, I've also had it cut by Ernesa and was happy w/ the results. They've both given me some good tips on things I've struggled with.
Kate S. replied:
Hey now! You certainly could think of other activities in Valpo to do when you come to get your haircut like .... have lunch or dinner with your folks. Why play with fire? Your hair has never looked better than when Misty cuts it. We are voting for staying loyal to Salon Diva.

My next door neighbor Kim is a stylist at Salon Artistry (it's between Outback Steakhouse and Bleachers). She does a great job and loves to talk sci-fi/fantasy shows and movies. Price is usually about $25.
