If you're in the brookhurst and adams area, I go to Best Cleaners in the corner of the Ralph's Plaza. I take everything there and she lets me pay at the end of the month and will give me 10-20% off depending on how much business I did with her each month. She also replaces missing buttons and will fix small problems with my clothes FREE OF CHARGE. Ask for Chun and tell her Nathaniel sent you! =)

Ocean Breeze for sure Lara! Even for alterations on my wedding dress and a dozen fittings she only charged me $125 to make it absolutely perfect... And it was a used dress with holes torn in the train. They give discounts for return clients and have not ever ruined a piece of clothing of mine. Not something I can say about all places.

I've been using Continental Cleaners on Main Street next door to Jax Bike and Crow Cleaners at Springdale and Warner for over 30 years both quality and customer service driven local business. Depending on where you live and if you are pressed for time... take your choice.

Crown cleaners is expensive because they charge an environmental fee which is another tax. Most drycleaners don't charge this fee and have to follow the same State environmental regulations. Check your receipt sometime it is a percent of the total. Other drycleaners are angry about this and refuse to join in. No one on the state level has ever heard of it. I go to Edindale on Edinger and Springdale and there is a good drycleaner on Goldenwest and McFadden by Jons market.

Thank you all for the excellent input. I was near Brookhurst and Yorktown today and gave that dry cleaner a try. It was small and not fancy, like my old place (A-Team Cleaners). It was more expensive, but I think that will be the case wherever I go.

I use Best Cleaners on Brookhurst and Adams next to Ralphs. The owners are ex tailors from Nordstrom and they always take great care of my nice dress clothes. They are very personable and always remember who I am. Well worth it for the prices!
