I get my honey from the local farmers markets, usually this guy http://www.henryshoneyfarm.com/Home.html. Otherwise this one is fairly local too http://www.kallashoney.com/, some of their honey comes from other areas in the US, but mostly WI and Minnesota. It is true about the allergies. It helps! Also check outpost if you can't find local honey from a vender at a farmers market. I have gotten it from outpost and checked for the ones labeled "local". Good luck!
Charlie Koenen is local and has hives in Bay View, he was selling honey at the makers space tonight

Halo Soap in Cudahy. It's a soap shop but I use their honey and beeswax to make some of my products so I carry their honey. I'm open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1-6 and Saturday 10-2. And hopefully I'll be opening a second store front in Bay View soon!! www.halosoap.com

Walnut Way (www.walnutway.org) has delicious honey and is located at 17 th and North Ave. You can't get much more local than that! It is a wonderful organization with the best honey in town. They sell at the Fondy Farmers Market and at their headquarters. Please support this organization. They are doing great work in the community.
