We live east of the city and we have a friend that rents pet-friendly homes. His name is Eric Hayes. If you send me a PM, I can put you in touch with him.

Welcome to the Debatable Lands! I live in Franklin Park, which is north of the city, just south of Wexford. This is a great place to live but my neighborhood can be expensive and probably doesn't have a lot of houses as opposed to apartments for rent. Una is correct, you do NOT want to live in the eastern suburbs - traffic backs up through both tunnels and it would take forever. I used to live in Forest Hills and work in Robinson, and it was ugly. You might want to consider the following: - Mars (just east of Cranberry, and you get to say you're a Martian!) - Crafton (more for rental than purchase, but it's an easy commute and not too expensive for rentals) - Coraopolis (like Crafton but closer to the airport) - Moon Township (very close to the airport, though there's a lot of airplane noise) - Robinson Township (also close to the airport) If you don't mind a slightly longer commute but still without tunnel complications, Evans City, Zelienople, or Economy might be good options. I have a decent real estate agent based in Franklin Park, but I don't know if he could help you that far north. But you can try. Vic Ilnicki, Coldwell Banker, (412) 400-7611. Tell him I sent you.

Hmm, here's one in Greentree, which is a straight shot to the airport. Not land, but reasonable as a rental http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/apa/4523239175.html
