Ashley H. replied:
I've been taking Alaina to Dr. Barton at Treasure Valley Pediatrics in Boise. They're on the downtown Luke's campus. I found a lump on her neck over the holiday weekend, called about it Tuesday morning, and was in to see her by Wednesday midday. She's been fantastic. She also "job shares" with Dr. Weiss, so she's Alaina's primary doc but if I need Alaina to be seen and Dr. Barton is out of the office, he covers her patients. He's actually who evaluated Alaina in the hospital and I thought he was super nice as well. The office itself also has weekend hours available (basically call first thing in the morning and they tell you when to come in that day. They stick around as long as they have patients that need to be seen!). There's also a Treasure Valley Pediatrics office in Meridian that some of my co-workers take their kids to and I've heard great things about that office as well.
Ashley H. replied:
Furthermore, we had an outpatient ultrasound of the lump on Alaina's neck done today, and Dr. Weiss called me at 6 p.m. to let me know the results tonight so I wouldn't have to wait all the way until Monday. I thought that was pretty awesome. (The good news: All is well with Alaina. Just some muscle inflammation, probably from having a slightly traumatic birth and should resolve on its own. Whew!)
ughhhhh......I have to change my son's doc and get all his medical records and see a different doc and get him another referral to see the urologist because the one he...
