Definitely do not go with Dr. Issa with Sacred Heart. I've been seeing him for 10 years. He's the only one who will accept my insurance unfortunately.

His reviews weren't the greatest. Believe me, I have read them all about the endos in the area. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. I would have been frustrated by that as well. Dr. Issa has accused me of "forgetting to do bloodwork" that he never ordered me to do in the first place. It gets frustrating. After being a patient for so long, I would hope to be treated better, but nope. I constantly read online where the people with my type of tumor have their doctors remove them and they feel 100% better. That has never even been discussed. Perhaps you will have a better experience. Like I said, he may treat some types of issues better than others. I wish you the best of luck!

Dr. Riche is the best! He doesn't sugar coat ANYTHING and he won't boost your ego (he makes it a point that I need to lose weight during every appt; not that I don't already know that)....BUT he is great at what he does when it comes to his work. He's fast paced, yet very thorough. I've never had a super long wait in his office either. I've been very pleased with the care I've received.

I went to Dr. Riche today in pcola.... and I walked out of there hating the world and refuse to return to him. My primary doc is sending me to Dr. Issa next.
Jason T. replied:
Dr Issa but usually takes a while to get an appointment. But his other Dr's that work under him are good.

Dr Mamish at Sacred Heart. My daughter has been going to him for several years. He is super nice and an excellent doc.
Lindsey M. replied:
He may be better with patients with diabetes or metabolism issues. I have only known one other individual personally with my type of tumor. He may just not have many patients like myself he has to treat, therefore, he has less experience or knowledge of what treatment is appropriate. Oh, and I have heard good things about Dr. Mamish. I'm curious to know if he would accept my insurance so I can see him instead.
Robin N. replied:
whoa. that's really good insight Lindsey, thanks! I would be seeing him for diabetes. The experience I had today was unexceptionable, not ONE bit. I walked in with a positive attitude thinking if a doctor can help me, this one is it, i heard so many good things about Dr. Riche, but when he came into the exam room. it was nothing but discouraging advice. He was argumentative. and let's not talk about what i'm allergic too! so.. those forms you have to fill out when you walk into a doctor's office?? clearly asked what i'm allergic too, so i listed it, no one else asked me about it later, nurse didn't verify, doctor didn't verify. So when it came to prescribing me meds, guess what he wanted to prescribe, of course the med i'm allergic to. he sat there arguing with me, saying i've never taken it before, so i wouldn't know if i'm allergic to it, or better yet.... why didn't you tell me you took this meds before. and why didn't you tell me you were allergic, well, doctor, it is listed on my medication list and under allergies that your office asks every patient to fill out. he didn't believe a word i said during the appt. in exact words. "i'm not convinced"
I have an acquaintance in Navarre with a young teenage son who has type 1 Diabetes. For some behavior reason, he can't go to Nemours. Does anyone know of an area...
