Ok, it's been 18 days of pain, broke down and took the prednisone, stopped the stabbing pain but it didn't stop the numbness. Not good. The disc extrusion is actually...

When I blew my disc, I couldn't walk w/o so much pain from my hospital bed to the bathroom. Dr Handzer ordered an MRI and Pertez said, "why". After he said," well, your in the MRI machine, lets see". I blew the disc apart and it did permanent damage to...See More

Thanks Greg Brown I was looking at this. The down side is that the fibrin is hard and it puts pressure on the vertebrae above or below. A great concept but I don't think its there yet. There is another guy Dr. Ken Pettine who is injecting stem cells in...See More

I don't think Pausa is using stem cells at Texas Joint and Spine Clinic. Not sure what the long term results are with his treatment. It should be made known in 2015.

Janice L. replied:
Went to Dr. Casden this morning, like him a lot. It may resolve without surgery but he did this surgery last week on a guy and the pain was gone immediately. He removes the herniation without removing any bone, I like that. Giving it some more time.

A word on Dr Bitan: He is a confident knowledgeable man. I have complete confidence in his knowledge and procedures BUT you need to know he lacks communication with the patient and family after his work is complete....at least when all goes as he has p...See More
