Can anyone recommend an arborist? So I think the tree in my backyard is dying and/or dead. No idea how it happened. I'd like to get a professional opinion.
Does anyone...

I used Bartlett after shopping around a few years ago to remove a dying Norway maple. Have since used them for routine maintenance. Fair price and work is well done.

[Carroll Tree Service](https://www.carrolltreeservice.com/residential) is well credentialed. [RAW Tree Experts](https://www.google.com/search?q=RAW+tree+experts) is a good company. Both will be able to remove the tree - ask how they would do that and choose the one that method you're comfortable with - they both know what they're doing. If you're looking to try and save the tree or need info about it, Carroll I think might be more informative.
Austin peeps! I have two trees down in the yard at the house. They need to be cut up and taken away. Know anyone who needs work? Ir can you recommend a tree service?...

We've used www.redbeacon.com to get quotes from local contractors on the last two big home projects we've had to get done (like the fence today). Hopefully you have better luck finding someone to take care of the trees than we did the fence, though--most of the big companies like Viking have a three week waiting period after Monday's winds. Ugh.
