You can blood test for Cushing's, the interpretation can be more difficult at certain times of year. You can use medications in combo with food (Yvette is great), to keep your horse in the best shape. You can contact us at Wasatch Veterinary(801 662 8092) if you would like us to come and do an exam and bloodwork. It is always a good idea with a new horse to have an exam done if a pre purchase wasn't done.
