I know you'd prefer a local practitioner but I'll share about one out of town. The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine does acupuncture for $25/visit whereas most practitioners charge over $100. The clinic I go to is in the Hollywood District. Acupuncture is done by an instructor who is licensed and a few students observe. I had excellent treatment. http://ocom.edu/
