I can give you the names of Feed Stores near South Lake Tahoe that I know would definitely help you as I know the area very well. I use to have a horse ranch in ElDorado County California. Try Lees Feed they are in Shingle Springs. And I know they can give you a list of areas to stop. And happy trails to you!!! And then there is the Ranchers Outlet Plymouth, Amador County California that is going towards Jackson. I'am sure they have some more places to tell youfeed stores in Grass Valley California. In that area is where the Draft Horse Classics Events are held. Close to the Nevada borderAnd then if you need names of people for more Horse amenties I have friends that have horse ranches in the Placerville area too. Just let me know and I can send you their names they have known me for ten years while I lived in ElDorada County with my Belgian Draft and Appys

Make sure to look at DeLorme maps they are excellent maps for every state. Big and heavy so take pictures with your camera on your phone of the areas you will be in. http://www.delorme.com/
