Looking for used car dealerships Hey! Our car recently died and now we need a new one. We don't have tons of money, but we're hoping to find a decent dealership for used...

Avoid Mark Mitsubishi and Mark Kia. They will bend you over and then some. Bill Luke treated me well when it came to an affordable vehicle. CarMax is low pressure, but their vehicles tend to be expensive because they are newer lower mileage ones. My credit union was working with [Precision Fleet Services](https://www.precisionfleetservices.com/), I can't vouch for them since I've never been but they had a decent selection in all price ranges. Doug at Peoria VW was very good to us when we bought a vehicle there almost a decade ago, they have "no haggle pricing" though so it's hit or miss there if you're trying to drive the price down. We had misread how much warranty was left on our vehicle and they ended up eating the cost on a $500 repair a year and a half after buying from them when they certainly didn't have to.

Through my credit union I found Todd Hale over at Centennial. http://phoenix.clscars.com/standard/home.aspx I've gotten two vehicles from him now, and when I finish driving my current one into the dirt, I'll be right back with him.

Used car lots are generally sleazy because they buy cars from auctions and send them out the door. They are incredibly stingy with repairs to maximize their profits. If they don't screw you over by giving you a cheap unreliable lemon then they'll screw you over with financing if it's a newish car. Not to say you won't get screwed either with an older model. Not all car lots are like this but just be warned. You are better off buying from a private owner if you can afford it. At least you'll get some insight into the vehicles history if anything.

We've bought two cars from Equity Auto. They are low BS, sales people aren't on commission, and they buy and sell a lot of ex rental cars that are newer year models but have higher mileage. We shopped at a lot of dealerships and none could beat Equity.

Carvana is by far the best! Their service is great and the vehicles are quality. I'm loving my Scion tC I bought from them. They have a 7 day money back guarantee on every car and their advocates don't work on commission so there's no pressure.

I love LeSueuer Car Company. I’ve purchased nine vehicles from them and have never had a problem. They are family owned business and they treat you like family. They are on Curry in Tempe and are on a county island so you don’t have to pay city sales tax. They work with Desert Schools Credit union or you can get your own financing. Www.usedvwaudi.com
