There are many good orthopedic doctors in the area and they're all good in their own way. Dr. Zeidan is one of the best!! I have worked with him for years and his patients all do phenomenal. He does not mess around and he is strict, but definitely a excellent surgeon . Good luck
Jeanne A. replied:
Loved Zeidan, he did my hip surgery.

He sucks. He did my knee 2 years ago and it was not right from day one. I told him something was wrong and he would not listen. I went to Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa. Dr.Lyons - world renouned Dr. He does the Bucs and did little Ireland Neugent-the little girl who lost her legs in lawnmower. #813-978-9700-they are on Dale Mabry.. He redid what Zeidan screwed up- the whole knee was not cemented!!! Just had the other done by him also.
John B. replied:
My wife had both knees done at same time. Dr Katz is the BEST.
Dana C. replied:
Dr. Michael Higgins. His office is on Mariner Blvd.
Donna C. replied:
Dr Moynahan is the best
Gail R. replied:
Hubby saw him, but he didn't do the ankle replacement that was needed. Dr. Daniel Moynihan is excellent. Also, Florida Orthopaedic Institute is highly recommended by us.
Vel P. replied:
Dr Moynihan, for sure.
Donna P. replied:
Kenneth Gustke at Florida Ortho Institute did mine and then the revision - the first one "failed" less than a year later. No question he is considered "the best" by many ortho doctors in SH. That said... if you are looking for a friendly office and a doctor who is compassionate with a great bedside manner, I'd suggest another excellent one who is much closer ... Dr. Daniel Moynihan. I can't see myself going back to Dr. Gustke for any ortho surgery. A word of caution about meds ... you will need to get your scripts through mail and they were not always reliable with sending them out on time. I ended up at Oak Hill 9 days after surgery with stitches still in, because they "forgot" to send it to me. I'd like to say it happened just once but that wasn't the case with both surgeries.
My brother is looking for an orthopedic surgeon for hip replacement. He is coming down from NY to have his surgery here to recover at my house. Does anyone have someone...
