Hey folks, can anyone recommend a roofer? This happened during the ice storm, but I couldn't see the extent of the damage until the branches were pulled away.

He's more handyman than specifically a roofer, but I know a guy by the name of Vince Vaughn (and yes, I can hear the Vince Vaughn/Kevin Smith jokes happening right now), is number is 240-285-3063. Cheers.

Any good roofer recommendations? Would most likely be a small job fixing some flashing. Thanks in advance!

Horizon Roofing gave me a good price on my flat roof Canton row home. The owner was good to work with, too.

Kelbie Roofing did good work for cheap. I'd recommend. Even came out to inspect when I thought there was a leak in the roof that turned out to be a leaky pipe.

Most people will recommend a contractor based on their single exposure to the company. Semi-LPT: call a big realtor, ask nicely and they will recommend one or two local outfits that they use when their clients are required to complete repairs by contract. Realtors use these guys A LOT, and have pretty well established who is reliable and fair. Edit - by the way, you definitely do not need a roofer to apply the silver overlay coat. Any general contractor will do this, its really simple.

I don't remember the company name but we used James MacDonald and he was great. Good guy, good price, good work. Found him on Angie's List.

dibello roofing in locust point was alright. He installed new flashing that's visible from the front. I pointed out that it was crooked and there was an unnecessary number of seams (think they wanted to reuse shorter pieces). When I asked him to clean it up he made a big deal of it. I don't think I'd use them again.

I had Petit Construction replace my single family home roof recently, and my folks used them for a ton of remodeling work over the years. Pretty reliable and trustworthy. Based in Howard County.

Recently had work done with Arocon Roofing. Their estimate came in at half what I'd been quoted elsewhere and there were no surprises afterwards. I recommend.

http://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.WFSContracting.7500941.html Best contractor I've ever used. He's doing my roof in the fall and I've had him do some other stuff around the house. That said, he doesn't like to do roofs in the summer due to the heat. Then again the weather has been pretty mild so maybe he'll be up for it? Only way to know is to call.

When I bought my house I had a guy named Tim from Precision Roofing take care of some leaks and repairs that were necessary in the front of my house. He did a very nice job and at a good price.

Hartman Roofing. Our ridge line vent was loose. We called and the gentleman said he could come within the next few days. Then, he said “But it’s supposed to rain tomorrow so I better get over there today.” When he got up there he noticed an old satellite dish was also loose so he secured it. Sold the house the next year and he wrote a letter stating that our 20 yo roof had 30 year shingles and was in great shape.
