I hear that legalzoom.com has tons of information on legal issues that a person may be able to handle on their own. They're also cheaper than an attorney and they can refer you to someone if one is deemed necessary.

They should have bank addendums looked at by an attorney then decide how bad they want the home. That's in our favor. But... As you know, bank won't allow and amendment to them most likely. A Real Estate attorney might advise them the same as the other attorney since if it's something that is not good for the buyer, the attorney could get some grief. Buyers probably should stop looking at REOs and just let their attorney review the standard contracts up front, leaving the particulars of the deal for review, if they are into nitty gritty. Real Estate is more often than not a give and take with more taking on the side of the person in control.
