We recently moved to Clark County and quickly noticed how hard the water was. We got our softener through Costco.com. They sent out a local company to install it - Wolfer’s Home Services. It’s made such a huge difference! We used to have so many white water stains all over the place. Can’t imagine what the hard water was doing to all of our pipes, and the refrigerator water line. It was about $5,700 installed. But we also got a 5% Costco cash reward card. I recently saw that Costco was doing a 10% cash back card for the same system. This was for the softener & filter system. So a bit more than just a softener.

Are you on city water or a well? People with wells frequently need softening. I've never found city water to need it
