[Lindley King](https://www.vagaro.com/hairbylindley?ig_fbb=true) is the best. I have a short, choppy pixie style. Lindley is very adventurous and used to work at The Foxhole with Ash. Very similar vibe!

I'm broke so I've gone to Tricoci (sp?) Beauty School. I was taking my hair from dark purple with multiple under layers of other fashion colors and permanent dye to light blonde. For $100 over 2 sessions my hair was lightened, toned a few times, I was given some really skillfull highlights with a darker natural root shadow, they used something similar to olaplex, and I bought some fancy redken shampoo. I wound up with beautiful honey blonde hair for a bargain, and the teacher who observes everything is really skillful and can take care of anything the student can't do.

Love Salon Forte - I go to Ashley for Deva/curly girl cuts (she does 'normal' cuts phenomenally as well!) and coloring. She's such a sweetheart and just all around does a great job! I have gone to Royale Hair Parlor a few times - have never really been satisfied, especially for the cost. (I have gotten both Deva cuts as well as 'normal' cuts there from multiple stylists. I also had my hair curled there and looked like 80's Dolly Parton by the end of it.) About 3/4 years ago I went to Stylista Foxhole and while it was really neat in there, I had a horrible experience with the actual styling... I wanted to have my hair dyed professionally for the first time, and was informed it was the stylists' first time doing a balayage... I wasn't sure if my hair was healthy enough for it [curly, dark chestnut brown, fine, very dry], but she assured me it would be fine. My hair broke off about 2 inches at the end after a few weeks and many attempts to rehydrate... Didn't go back. I wish the experience didn't turn out so bad though, because they were so nice in there!

I just had my hair done yesterday over at Hair Techniques on Liberty. Glenda was recommended to me by a friend, and she was amazing! And my haircut came with a shampoo and a head/neck massage from her (that was the best part!).
