Thanks everyone!! I ended up at Master Mechanic on lynden rd. I THINK they were fair with me. (Not cheap) but fair. They walked me through the parts I needed, offered me factory parts or aftermarket, (didn't just throw the most expensive part on) told me where the expensive labour would be and why it was labour intensive. All in all, I feel content. Didn't get an AMAZING deal, but didn't get Fu?!ed either!! Thanks for all the suggestions. I will keep them all in mind for the next time!! lol. Thanks for the offer Leigh, but it is a ford. Shannon- good luck on the car sale!! Joe- I'll get that number from you next time I see you! Cheers!! Thanks all!!
Brantford people! Looking for a GOOD mechanic. Someone who takes the time to look at an older car and not just investigate the issue I mention or complete an oil change....

Pat C. replied:
Not Burlington, but Waterdown collision is at Clappisons Corners, and they do good work, and will tow your car - sorry this happened Sarah - lousy time of year for it, but the main thing is that you are ok!

Ev F. replied:
If you can see the glass-grap it with something-pliers-pull it up into place and then wedge it so it doesn't fall back down. May have to have someone play with motor to help push it back up. A body shop is what you need -not a mechanic. Uncle Ev
