the best - Dale McGregor with Hammerburg & Company Lawyers 1-888-529-5544 or 604-269-8500... this is one of the biggest law firms in BC ... they have all the top doctors on retainer so getting appointments is much easier when they arrange it... doctors that our local family dr's can not even refer to ... please check him out.

Hell Yes! My guy is Dale McGregor at Hammerburg & Co / they are the biggest icbc law firm in BC and the best with the best of the best Doctors on retainer at all times- no long waits for specialist- they get it done for you as well as MRI's etc. no costs up front to you.... They are in Vancouver but they are the only way to go. They had me in to see so many specialists that would normally take 2-3 yrs from a regular doctor referral- they made sure my medical needs were taken care of as well as my legal needs...

As for Dale Pederson...big thumbs down from me...my ex used him....he stalled and stalled and stalled court processes. He really didnt seem to know all the details when we were in court.

Call Stan Hope in Abbotsford. He will do a free consultation to see if its worth taking. If he takes you on, you know it will end well in your favor. Definitely one of the best of not the best lawyer to fight icbc

Lawyer - ICBC will offer almost nothing. My son and I were injured in an accident about 6 years ago. I thought I didn't need a lawyer because I wasn't interested in "suing" I just wanted my lost wages, his carseat replaced, and medical expenses. The wouldn't even cover my wages - made me go on sick EI for 6 weeks! The lawyer got us far, far more then the nothing I was offered.

Matty Will, there are 2 things that you could do. 1.) Dial-A-Law 1-800-565-5297. 2.) Lawyer Referral Service 1-800-663-1919. I have used the second one a few times. Call them, tell them that you need to talk to a lawyer in Chilliwack (possibly Abbotsford if must be) and what it is about. They will give you a couple of numbers and names. You call and set up appointment making sure to tell the lawyers office that you got referred from the Lawyer Referral Service and you get half hour (not sure if this is still how long) for $30 (this used to be $10-30 depending on the lawyer - check what it is now tho). But whatever it may be, you get some time to question and get answers for a few dollars. Make sure you have all questions written with the capabilities of writing answers down for review.
