I found found great private tutor on wyzant.com for my daughter. He has really helped her a lot. She needed more one on one time and while the tutors through UNT helped last semester, they couldn't find one that would fit her schedule this semester. She did have some dependability issues last semester as well.
I haven't had any luck finding a math tutor for Payton. If you know anyone who tutors 6th grade math, could you please let me know. Thanks!

You should try WyzAnt.com. I found one on there for Mackenzie once. College girl, very reasonably priced and she came to our home.

Does anyone know of a good math tutor in the Denton area that could help Payton with 6th grade math? They changed the standards this year & from what I understand almost...

Aimee Plyler Turner, yes please send me his info. The school told me that the curriculum changed & 6 th graders are doing what 8 th graders did last year. So it's like they missed two years of instruction. His school counselor said that he has received a ton of calls about this. His math teacher offers tutoring, but so many kids need help that he is overwhelmed by the number of kids coming to tutoring that he can't really help them. I just want to get a handle on it before he gets too far behind.
