I use Clear Skin Ahead by Philosophy - most amazing stuff I have ever used!! Pricey, but worth every penny. Of all the products I've tried and used, this is by far the best and I strongly recommend it for all skin types and for what you're looking for as well. You can get it right in Macy's
Can anyone recommend a a good dermatologist in the Monmouth County area to go to and if they accept Ameri Health insurance that be a plus too thanks in advance

Those are both very harsh. I use olive oil to remove my makeup then cleanse with a mild cleanser from the health food store called Andalou Naturals. Make sure you rinse really well with warm water not hot

I liked Dr. Dixon of Derm One in Holmdel. She had beautiful skin herself and the surgeon was very good when I had skin cancer.

I like Dr Schecter in manalapan too....went there for years.... difficult to get a quick appt tho...
Heather D. replied:
Dr. Schecter is ok. Zero personality (as stated above). I don't absolutely live him...and not because of the personality, I feel he is old school and doesn't think outside he box. He's in and out handing you a script. He kept misdiagnosing the issue on my face (which can happen anywhere - he kept telling me it was rosacea but the rosacea meds didn't work and burned badly...turns out it's part of my psoriasis ugh). As far as sensitive skin, I have the worst! I use philosophy pure or FAB (First Aid Beauty). Cetaphil is supposed to be for sensitive skin and that makes my face burn. You can also try LUSH at the freehold mall...they have a bar called phresh pharmacy - they even give samples. And Sephora gives you decent size samples too. Do you break out or just redness?
