I've always been partial to the Bunny camps. Renegade Bunnies (Calgary based, but does it really matter?) is the latest incarnation. The Grove (Markus O'Relius) and The Living Room (Farren Square) are also pretty awesome (but don't tell them I said so ;-) ). Both are Edmonton based (but does it really matter?) Freezer Burn is Alberta's Regional Burn. It runs on the same principals Burning Man does, such as decommodification, leave no trace, immediacy, participation, radical inclusion, radical self expression, and radical self reliance. It takes place outside of Ponoka on private land and is a really great starting point for anyone interested in attending Burning Man.
