Facebook: where is the best neurology department in SE Michigan? No one can figure out what's wrong with my dad at Providence. I'm giving them another week and then...
Amy S. replied:
Henry Ford downtown had a good neuro dept. when I worked there but that was 15 years ago.
I go to Henry Ford downtown and like it. I hated my UM neuro but he's ALS specific. I think the whole neuro dept at HF is supposed to be pretty good. Praying for you guys!
Bekah S. replied:
I see Dr Danny Watson in Bloomfield Hills.

Janet C. replied:
Beaumont has a new neuro building, and we've heard decent things. Henry Ford also has a good neuro rep, and U of M. MIND *was* a DMC clinic, but I know my kids' doctor there is now out of Beaumont.
Emily M. replied:
No Lisa Hurst
Pamela W. replied:
Dr Wade Cooper at U of M
Lisa H. replied:
HFHS Henry Ford health system has a great neuro ICU
Marisa P. replied:
Wow Emily I had no idea this was happening. I do not know about Medicaid, but I do feel from my experiences that Beaumont has a high level of care and that U of M has a huge Neuro staff, highly educated. I am a patient with MI Neurology Associates. They seem to accept Medicaid from the conversations I have heard while waiting. I see Dr Giancarlo and he is in charge. You could call their office. Again, I am really sorry this is happening.

A bunch of us really love Dr. Barbara Falkell. She is my doctor, my mother's doctor, Lailee and Isaac's doctor, and my old roommate's doctor too. She's also a Beaumont doctor and her office is right near the hospital in Royal Oak. As a bonus, she's also a DO.

John sees Dr. Rochlen as well. Love that office. Much happy.
Lianna T. replied:
The DOs over at the ZMC Pharmacy in Royal Oak are pretty dope. They practice family medicine; I started seeing them for both my overall health, and psychiatric needs (meds). They take all kinds of insurance, have a pharmacy right in their building, and the counters in the examination rooms are white with silver sparkles. THEY HAVE SPARKLY COUNTERTOPS. I rest my case.
