Dr. Conologue is in the Thompkins Martin building. She is excellent.
Pete W. replied:
Have been to a few of themin Fredericksburg in my sort of long life. Sandi Stein is right, Dr. Theresa Conologue is the very best. That's just my opinion.
Julie L. replied:
I've been to both Eid and Conologue. They're both good, but Dr. Eid was easier to talk to and easier to get an appointment with. It's just personal preference, but I thought I'd mention it for the sake of comparison.
Brenda Y. replied:
Dr. Stevens is the best around!
Julie L. replied:
Dr. Mark Eid is great. Avoid Michael Stevens like the plague. He was truly unpleasant.
Carolyn W. replied:
Dr Mark Eid is REALLY GREAT!!

New to the area and looking for doctors that except tricare and need some advise on obgyn, and dermatologist
Jes L. replied:
Dr. Lia Shorter is with Women's Health and Surgery Center. They are wonderful and accept Tricare. I took my son to see Dr. Neal (derm) in Stafford and walked out. He was very unprofessional. We see derm at FT Belvoir and are pleased.
Jes L. replied:
My kids love Dr Wright. She and her staff are so friendly and there's not a long wait to get in either. (540)899-9446
Amber E. replied:
Definitely Women's health and Surgery Center. I heard Dr. Neal is a good doctor but has terrible bedside manners.
Any recommendations for a dermatologist in the Fredericksburg area? We have 10 in network so hoping we have some friends that use a couple of them.
Michelle M. replied:
Dr. Eid is fabulous. There is also a new dermatology practice on Lafayette Road, in a new building, near Greek restaurant (Forum).
Laura D. replied:
It was a long time ago, but I think I took my oldest to Dr. Stevens for a pediatric issue. Don't recall any problems with them, but we did ultimately end up at Johns Hopkins pediatric dermatology and allergist.
LeeAnne H. replied:
Just spoke to the receptionist at Dr. Stevens office and she was super friendly. She felt bad she could not get us in until Sept 17. Well, being a specialist, I do not find 3 weeks out a bad thing. Sounds like they are responsible and have their calendar filled. We have an appt and I will keep everyone posted.
Barbara T. replied:
Dr Bajoghli is wonderful!
LeeAnne H. replied:
hmmm...we have a Dr. Terri Morris, Dr. Patricia Stevens, Dr. Michael Stevens, and up on the north end of the county Dr. Kenneth Neal and Dr. LeiLei Chaw. I thought there were 10 but there are only 5 within 20 miles.
LeeAnne H. replied:
YIKES! I looked her up and it seems she may be focusing on anti aging and laser treatments. She just opened a new office on Lafayette Blvd. Ok, maybe I should try Dr. Stevens and Dr. Stevens. Husband and wife team in the same office.
Fredericksburg friends. Need recommendations for a good dermatologist. Thanking you all in advance.
Dave P. replied:
Dr. Sacks
Jennifer G. replied:
Karl sees Dr. Morris, referenced above, for his skin cancer issues
Matthew K. replied:
For me, just need to have a mole checked out. Dr. Morris' office was having trouble accessing their calendar, so I figured I'd check for others. I'd like to take care of it sooner rather than later.
Dena M. replied:
Mark Eid at MWH - recommended by several friends & my primary care physician

Does anyone in the area have a dermatologist they like?
Beth S. replied:
Shelley - I go to the dermatology center of Fredericksburg and see the PA (Dr. Morris as needed). It's the only place in town that was accepting new patients when we moved here five years ago. I've had seven biopsies, 2 basal cell carcinomas. I've been quite satisfied - no outstanding comments either way. And I'm diligent about going because of a family history and growing up at the beach.
Myckel P. replied:
Jake just started to go to VA Dermatology and Skin Surgery off Rt 1. He saw Dr. Campbell. She was nice. I brought her the skin regimen he was using and she said throw it away. She gave him a Rx for cream and told us what to use OTC for wash and moisturizer. It will save us about $100.
Hope W. replied:
Dr. Conologue at Horizon Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. Nice, very personable, thorough, and I think she's the only doctor in Fredericksburg that is on time!
Hope W. replied:
I just had a skin check with Dr. Conologue. Her PA (whom I liked a lot) did the initial check, but Dr. Conologue came in to follow up and did a thorough check. Having a cyst removed in Sept. by Dr. C.
Missy K. replied:
Terry Morris
Monte L. replied:
Horizon. Just went last month and only took two weeks for appt. Had to see PA but any followup procedures are with Dr. C. PA very nice and thorough. Did biopsies. Once you see PA your not considered a new patient and can get in to see Dr's.
Mary F. replied:
I go to Dr. Conologue also every 6 months for body scans. And she does do biopsy. My son also goes.
Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in Fredericksburg?
Lisa R. replied:
Acne or skin cancer? Feel free to PM me. Dr. Mike Stevens was always mine for acne, he's the best in the area. Not sure if he's taking new patients. His wife does skin cancer. But just PM me if needed.
Becky P. replied:
"Dr. Pat" and "Dr. Mike" Stevens. Good luck getting in.
Brooke P. replied:
Dr. Terri Morris is who I used when in Fredericksburg. She's good but expect a 3 month wait.
Barb L. replied:
Bob sees Dr. Conologue. She's very good.
Melissa G. replied:
Dr Leilei Huffman. Very good! I too had to wait a few weeks to become a patient, but now that I am, I can get an appointment much quicker.
Kelly A. replied:
Mike Stevens is who I used to see! He was wonderful
Does anyone, especially any Peds nurses, know of a good pediatric dermatologist in the Fredericksburg/Richmond area? A good friend of mine is on need of one, Michele...
Katie P. replied:
Laurie Shinn. She is with Commonwealth Dermatology in Richmond. That's who I use for Brendan and his severe eczema. She is fantastic and she's really good with him too:)
Laura H. replied:
Laurie Shinn helped us when Caleb had his allergic reaction to omnicef; she was great.
Recommendations for a dermatologist I can take my 2.5 year old to...Fredericksburg/Stafford/Spotsylvania areas. Thank you!
Rebecca D. replied:
I use Virginia Dermatology and Skin Center. They seem thorough. I like The Dermatology Center too but the wait time to get an appointment was very long (several months).
